Hi. I'm Laurie and online Hi Laurevi. (Laurevi is a mash up of my first and last name.) and I am a former middle school music teacher who is now navigating the wide open spaces of retirement. I live in the a suburb of Houston, TX with my husband and cat.

I have had one variation of a blog on and off since the early 2000s. This iteration is a space where I am going to write about whatever strikes my fancy including antique postcards and ephemera, journaling, travel, or any of the small events that make up my daily life. This is not a scholarly or a commercial endeavor but a personal one. Follow along if you like.
