I, like everyone else these days, is trying to find ways to reduce their dependence on their phone and part of that for me is getting back to reading. Over the years I have read fantasy, and mystery, a sprinkling of non-fiction, but the genre that has held my interest the longest is romance. For years it was historical romance and for the last few years it has been contemporary.

To get myself out of the slump, I started with one of my favorites, Neanderthal Seeks Human (it is available on Kindle, I have no idea why her site says it isn't). I'm not going to beat myself up about re-reads because right now my goal is together back into a healthy reading habit. For the last 6 months that I taught, my anxiety was so high I would lose myself in books and read for hours, ignoring everything else. NOT a healthy way to do it.

Everything else I managed to read this month was new and my favorite new reads of the month were the Day Dreamer series of books by Susie Tate. Click to see the full image.

Yay for reading again.
